A Pound for Zimbabwe: give to Christian Aid
Tuesday 29 April 2008
Following his day of prayer and fasting for Zimbabwe in York Minster on Sunday 27th April, Archbishop Sentamu called for donations of at least one pound from as many people as possible to support the work of relief agencies there.
A Pound for Zimbabwe: give to Christian Aid
He suggests the donations be made to Christian Aid, which is working with churches in Zimbabwe to provide shelter and safety for some of those affected by the post-election violence and intimidation.
"The people of Zimbabwe need your support," says the Christian Aid web site. "You can show your solidarity with them now and in the future by giving to our Zimbabwe fund."
Visit Christian Aid to make your donation.
Thank you very much.
