Archbishop makes a steady recovery
Tuesday 14 October 2008
A spokesperson for the Archbishop said:
"The Archbishop of York is making a steady recovery following his discharge from hospital for the treatment of severe salmonella poisoning and gastroenteritis. Dr. Sentamu is recuperating well but has been given strict medical advice to limit his diary commitments. The Archbishop has expressed his sadness at not being able to fulfil all of his engagements and has offered his gratitude to those who have been inconvenienced for their good graces and understanding. Dr. Sentamu hopes to have made a full recovery in a matter of weeks".
