Acts435 Appeal #anothergift

Friday 23rd October 2015

The Archbishop of York’s online charity, Acts 435, is inviting people to consider giving #anothergift this Christmas to help someone in need.

Executive Director, Jenny Herrera commented: “With #anothergift, we would like people to think about how they might help someone in need with heating costs, food or a roof over their head this Christmas and at the same time give thanks for the things they have.”

Acts 435 is supplying packs for Sunday School groups and Primary School classes to decorate an Acts 435 Christmas Tree with baubles including a message such as ‘Help! No coat for winter’ to raise awareness of those struggling in poverty in the UK.

Acts 435 focuses on fast financial help to people in need. This year it marked its 5th anniversary and met its 5000th request for help.  It has released a new video explaining how donations can transform someone’s life.  All donations received by Acts 435 go directly to those in need.
