Her Majesty the Queen has approved the appointment of The Revd Canon Glyn Webster, Canon Chancellor and Acting Dean of York Minster, as Bishop of Beverley - in succession to the Right Reverend Martyn Jarrett on his retirement on 30 September 2012.
