    NEWS - Five individuals representing the Archbishop of York Youth Trust will join The Great North Run, a hugely popular half marathon from Newcastle to South Shields, on Sunday 11 September. They are fundraising in support of the Young Leaders Award for schools and Cry in the Dark, a Christian project that the Youth Trust has strong links with in Romania.

    NEWS - The Diocese of Durham has issued a short statement from the Rt Revd Mark Bryant, Bishop of Jarrow including a personal reflection by the Venerable Stuart Bain, Archdeacon of Sunderland who was a college of his whilst he was Bishop of Durham. The Archbishop of York also paid his tribute to Bishop David.
