NEWS - The Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu is to visit an open men’s prison at Kirkham on Sunday 11 September. He will lead a morning service; attend a coffee morning to spend time with staff and prisoners; and will share his journey of faith as part of the Crossroads Mission accompanied by former Gladiator Warren ‘Ace’ Furman.
NEWS - No 10 Downing Street has announced this morning that Her Majesty The Queen has approved the nomination of the Reverend Canon Mark Tanner MA (Oxon), BA (Hons), MTh, Warden of Cranmer Hall and Vice-Principal of St John’s College, University of Durham, as Suffragan Bishop of Berwick in the Diocese of Newcastle.

NEWS - The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu is to be ‘in conversation’ with Daniel Hahn at the Henley Literary Festival on Thursday 29 September at 10.30am at the Kenton Theatre. This will be a return visit for the Archbishop following his full-house event last year, with the exclusive first event for his new book.
