On Monday 25 March at 2pm, a Eucharist service will take place at York Minster for the York Diocesan branch of the Mothers’ Union.
During this service the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, will commission Mrs Hilary Castle as the new Diocesan President and also commission the Diocesan Trustees. Guests are expected from across the Province, including the Provincial President, June Horton.
The Archbishop, who is Patron of the Mothers Union, said: “It is a pleasure to commission Hilary Castle as the new Diocesan President – please join me in praying for Hilary in her new role. The work of the Mothers’ Union is to support families and communities in the UK and around the world, and many benefit from the care and concern shown by its members.”
