    Cyclists tackle 150 mile round trip to meet the Archbishop of York in fundraising bid for new Learning Resource Centre


    NEWS - Two intrepid cyclists from Cranmer Hall, a leading theological training college in the North East of England, will embark on an epic journey from Durham to York and back in a bid to fundraise for a new Learning Resource Centre on the 6th July.

    Twenty one to be Ordained in York Minster


    NEWS - The Archbishop of York will ordain twenty one people in York Minster on Sunday 5th July at 10am. Thirteen women and eight men will be made Deacons in the Church of England: the first time so many people have been ordained in the Diocese of York in the past seven years.

    NEWS - Today, the Bishop of Selby, the Rt Revd Dr John Thomson presented 25 Year 6 Pupils with their Archbishop of York Young Leaders Award at Barwic Parade Community Primary School.
