Cyclists tackle 150 mile round trip to meet the Archbishop of York in fundraising bid for new Learning Resource Centre
NEWS - Two intrepid cyclists from Cranmer Hall, a leading theological training college in the North East of England, will embark on an epic journey from Durham to York and back in a bid to fundraise for a new Learning Resource Centre on the 6th July.
NEWS - The Archbishop is to give an address and following this will cut a celebratory cake to mark the occasion on Monday 6 July at 12.30pm
NEWS - The official unveiling takes place on Friday 10 July from 1-4 pm and the opening around 1:30.pm. There will be stalls and delicious refreshments to purchase. All are welcome to attend.
NEWS - The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu today welcomed 64 school children from six City of York primary schools to Bishopthorpe for a series of leadership workshops organised by his Youth Trust, involving Kidz Klub York and York Schools & Youth Trust.

NEWS - Archbishop Sentamu will consecrate the Revd Canon Alison White, priest-in-charge of Riding Mill in the Diocese of Newcastle and Diocesan Adviser for Spirituality and Spiritual Direction, as the Bishop of Hull at York Minster on Friday 3rd July at 11 a.m.

NEWS - The Archbishop of York will ordain twenty one people in York Minster on Sunday 5th July at 10am. Thirteen women and eight men will be made Deacons in the Church of England: the first time so many people have been ordained in the Diocese of York in the past seven years.
