NEWS - The Very Revd Dominic Barrington, Dean of St James Cathedral in Chicago, since 2015, was today announced as the new Dean of York. 

NEWS - Alison White has served as Bishop of Hull since her consecration as the Church of England's second female bishop in York Minster on the 3rd July 2015. She is to retire in February 2022.

NEWS - The Revd Dr Jenny Wright, who is presently serving as Associate Priest at Christ Church, Morningside in the Scottish Episcopal Church, has been appointed Chaplain to the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell.  

NEWS - Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell is visiting Holy Trinity Cathedral in Port of Spain to help celebrate its 200th anniversary and to join with Bishop Claude Berkley in celebrating the life of witness of God's Church in the Diocese of Trinidad and Tobago.

NEWS - The Chapter of York today announced that the Archbishop of York has appointed The Reverend Canon James Milne, currently Canon Precentor at St Paul’s Cathedral, as the new Canon Precentor at York Minster. 

NEWS - The Very Reverend Dominic Barrington will be Installed as the 77th Dean of York during a special service of Choral Evensong, starting at 3pm at York Minster on Saturday 12th November to which all are warmly invited.
